Electrodiagnostic testing

Deep brain stimulation (DBS)

During your DBS procedure, a small device is implanted in your brain and chest. This device functions as a “brain pacemaker,” sending electrical signals to regulate the symptoms of your condition.

Neuromodulation

Often referred to as neurostimulation, neuromodulation is a technology we use to strategically target affected areas of your nervous system with electrical impulses. This surgical procedure is designed to correct any abnormal signals that could be causing your chronic pain. During the neuromodulation process, a brief trial period is conducted prior to connecting an implantable pulse generator (IPG) to electrodes on your peripheral nerves.

Vagus nerve stimulation (VNS)

Another one of our minimally invasive procedures, vagus nerve stimulation (VNS) is an effective treatment for epilepsy and seizure disorders. A small device is implanted by our experts during this VNS process, stimulating your vagus nerve with electrical impulses that work to regulate your symptoms.
