Upon admission to the program, you will undergo a comprehensive psychiatric and physical assessment. After the initial assessments, an individual behavioral health treatment plan is developed. It often includes one or more of our therapy services (group, physical, recreational and occupational). Some of these services include:
- 24/7 coverage by board-certified physicians
- Developing coping strategies
- Educational groups
- Emphasis on family education
- Family support groups and counseling
- Group and individual therapy and follow-up treatment
- Loss management and relapse strategies
- Medication management and assessment
- Music, recreation, leisure arts and pet therapies
- Nutritional counseling
- Relapse prevention
Child behavioral health
Our program offers 24/7 treatment for children struggling with mental health and behavioral issues. Flexible treatment options are available for children who need intensive support and evaluation by a psychiatrist.
Group sessions are the heart of the program and are supplemented with alternative therapies. We integrate this with education services, coordinating with your child’s school to complement their ongoing lessons.
Adolescent and teen behavioral health
Our program offers 24/7 treatment for adolescents experiencing mental health and behavioral challenges. Individual treatment tracks are available to meet the needs of each teen, including The Summit Program for substance abuse and related disorders.
Adult behavioral health
Our adult mental health and wellness treatment programs specializes in evidence-based intervention and stabilization of behavioral health conditions. We focus on identifying challenges and providing individualized treatment to prepare you or your loved one to succeed in a community setting. We provide personalized, dedicated care in a comfortable setting.
Senior behavioral health
Our physician-led, interdisciplinary treatment teams have developed programs specially designed for older adults (seniors). It has the capacity to treat individuals who may have a medical condition in addition to any challenging emotions they may be experiencing. Our senior program integrates approaches supported by the latest clinical research and practices in senior behavioral health.
Emergency mental health services
When you come to our emergency rooms (ERs), they may be busy inside — but please do not let it deter you from seeking emergency mental health care when you need it.
Upon your arrival, our staff will need to ask you questions, and it is extremely important to answer honestly and fully so we can provide the care you need. You may also speak with many different healthcare professionals. We ask you to know that it is all in an effort to keep you safe.
ER visits can take up to several hours. If our ER staff is concerned that you are a danger to yourself, they may decide to confiscate certain personal items that could be used in an effort to harm yourself.
After your ER visit
It is possible you will be discharged from the ER and be referred to a mental health professional for follow-up. Or, if you need more support, you may be transferred to another unit within our hospital or even to another facility in our network to get the care you really need.
Firefighter wellness program
Firefighters are our partners in healthcare and we are here for you. We understand how the physical and emotional demands of being a firefighter can impact the well-being of you and your family.
We provide continuity of care with a patient-centered approach. Our services include inpatient treatment for all ages, outpatient group therapy and outpatient psychiatry. We accept most insurance plans and offer confidential assessments. This program also provides medical screening services for cancer and heart disease. Whether seeking more information for yourself or a loved one, we commend you for pursuing help and want to emphasize the importance of taking this first step.
