Initial review

  • Pharmaceutical/Device/Industry Sponsor - $2,500
  • Investigator Initiated Project - $500
  • Humanitarian Use Device (HUD) - $500
  • Federally Funded Project - $250
  • Exempt Research - $500
  • External IRB Review $1,000
    • Use of an External IRB requires prior approval from the HCA-HealthONE IRB Administrator
  • Emergency Use / Quality Improvement / Not Human Subjects Research - NC

Continuing review

  • Pharmaceutical/Device/Industry Sponsor - $1,000
  • Investigator Initiated Project/Annual Statement of Continuance - $250
  • Humanitarian Use Device (HUD) - $250
  • Federally Funded Project - $200

Modifications after initial review

  • Major Revisions (Full Board Review) - $500
    • Amendments w/ significant changes to the protocol, informed consent document, and/or Investigator’s Brochure
  • Minor Revisions (Expedited Review) - $250
    • Amendments which do not increase the risk/benefit ratio of the study (e.g. recruitment materials, retention materials, etc.)
  • Administrative Revisions & Acknowledgements - N/C
    • (Administrative Review) E.g. Updates to study personnel, Investigator Brochure revisions not requiring an amendment, etc.
