Brother donates bone marrow to save sister's life

The Colorado Blood Cancer Institute saved Monica's life, with a little help from her brother, Rey.

At just 21, Colorado Blood Cancer Institute patient Monica was diagnosed with leukemia and faced the daunting need for a bone marrow transplant. Her younger brother Rey turned out to be a perfect match, giving her the gift of a “second birthday” and a second chance at life.
